The lacy patterns of double roofcaps have their origins in the first natural crests planted on the ridges of thatched roofs. The extensive range of double roofcaps is at the very heart of Ateliers d'Art Français' know-how. It stands out because of the wide range of sizes available and the variety of designs offered. Since they require a special alloy, it can take up to ten different operations to make them. They are most often finished with two finials, one at each end.
